I remember WaW being over-the-top and I enjoyed the change of scenery compared to the European setting of many prior WW2 games or modern warfare setting that was rampant at the time.

I remember 4 looking great, playing great, the multiplayer was revolutionary, and it had a campaign that was way too short. Can sign in to system account but can’t play online multiplayer. I played through 3, 4, MW2, WaW, and Black Ops, and the only ones that stuck with me are 4 and WaW. In fact, two missions in UO are basically condensed video game versions of two episodes from the BoB miniseries. I played CoD 1 & UO sometime after and I enjoyed the Band of Brothers vibe I got from them. I can't say anything about it stands out but it's still enjoyable. I've been playing through it again actually and it's still fun. At the time, I remember the gameplay being pretty solid, with some good ideas. Call of Duty 2 was the first one I ever played and I guess its just nostalgia. I can only real talk about the SP/campaigns since I don't play multiplayer often.
